Filtering Badges
You can filter your badges in numerous ways (e.g. filter by groups, badge types, etc. before exporting to generate a list of the people who match that filter).
If you are NOT using the registration system, then you will need to import a CSV file containing the required columns [First Name, Last Name, a unique Email address and the Badge Type (at least one badge type must be entered)]. All other fields are optional.
To export a badge list.
There are times you have to manually create a badge (e.g. staff, volunteers, etc.).
Note: Prior to creating a badge, a
(badge)Typemust already be created

We recommend creating an Admin Exhibitor Badge type that is separate from a regular Exhibitor badge type. Then, Select YES and give the Admin Exhibitor Badge ONLY the ability to see things publishers need to buy like exhibitor booths, advertising and sponsor opportunities, etc. Their badge would remain pending until they bought an exhibitor badge or exhibitor booth (that COMPS them a badge) for your convention. Once they complete the purchase, their badge would become active and take the place of one of the badges comped via their purchase.
If during badge creation an account is created for the attendee they will receive an account email from support@cardboardevents.com that looks something like this:

When a badge is created (through any means e.g. registration, admin creation, etc.) the associated e-mail address will receive an e-mail from support@cardboardevents.com that looks something like this:
